AT BRONXNET, students are able to gain experience in videography, editing, reporting, programming, and many more aspects of television broadcasting and emerging immersive technology.
With internships available in-studio, on-location and remotely, we are able to work with students’ schedules to help build their media skills for the future.

Internships We Offer

Producer Internship – Undergraduate
Producer interns learn the techniques of orchestrating a show by getting hands on experience on writing scripts, contacting guests, brainstorming segment ideas, and gathering information for proper execution.

Video Editing Internship - Undergraduate
Video editors are in command of editing of packages using Final Cut 10 and Premiere Pro. A package, to be specific, is a short segment of 1 to 2 minutes in length.

Studio Internship – Undergraduate
Studio interns are studio crew members tasked with doing the behind-the-scenes work of live television shows. All studio training is on-site and minimum experience is needed to become a studio intern.

Videography Internship – Undergraduate
Videography interns will learn how to shoot live events and receive hands on camera experience on the field. They will learn how to operate equipment and participate in creating authentic interviews behind the scenes.

Programming Interns shadow a Programming Coordinator and learn about how a TV network maintains broadcast operations for six cable and streaming channels.

Content Acquisitions Internship – Undergraduate
The Content Acquisitions team at BronxNet identifies compelling films, specials and shows, reaches out to the award-winning creators behind the magic, and helps broadcast their work to millions all over the world, thus amplifying their powerful, independent voices.

Internship Pathways

COLLEGE INTERNSHIPS
BronxNet collaborates with colleges to ensure opportunities for students to engage in production and enhance their abilities in media.
Students enroll in these internships for credit, experience, advancement in their career, and to create new possibilities for themselves.
As a result of these internships, students are able to graduate, get their foot in the door in media, and become leaders to help open doors for others.
We provide: internships that train in-studio production, producing, videography, reporting, video editing, content acquisition, and programming.
COLLEGE INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE
Spring Semester: February-April
Summer Semester: June-August

HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIPS
BronxNet partners with a number of high schools to create pathways for high school students to learn and grow in the field of production.
Through innovation and creativity, high schoolers get a hands-on experience to learn how to execute the production of a show and produce their own segments.
Students are able to learn how to manage equipment, create scripts, and be on camera. They are able to participate in the process of recording educational content for BronxNet’s “Edulution” show. A show that highlights learning, engaging, and educating virtually.
