February 6th

Free Tax Help with Turbo Tax at Hunts Point Library

Information: There is a limit on how many returns can be completed in one day. Taxpayers who cannot be accommodated within the hours set forth can return the following week or visit another site in Manhattan or the Bronx. Food Bank volunteers, who are certified by the IRS, will prepare both federal and state returns for people of all ages within the limits of their skill and training.

Digital Devices: Basic Video Editing with iMovie on the iPad at Pelham Bay Library

Astronomy: The Full Snow Moon at Pelham Bay Park Nature Center in Pelham Bay Park

Information: Traditionally, the moon we see in February is called the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall of February. On average, February is the USA’s snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service.
