On this week's OPEN, host Daren Jaime gives us the latest in Bronx news and sits down with Assistant Professor of Latin American Studies Mila Burns who discusses the role of Latino journalists and readers in the current political climate of the United States. Next, Daren discusses an event called “Keep it Clean” organized by The Third Avenue Business Improvement District and the New York Department of sanitation with Javier Medrano. He then brings awareness to the Pregones Theaters annual music festival called “March is Music” with Yasser Tejada, the band leader of Palotre. Finally, he meets with Deyla Sabio a blogger from the Bronx to talk about a special event that unites bloggers and content creators.
