OPEN Bx Rx Monday I April 12, 2021

On this week's OPEN Bx Rx Monday, Host Dr. Bob Lee is joined by Annette Osborne, a Member of the National Association of Black Military Women Brooklyn Chapter, as she reflects on her time in the armed forces as a nurse and speaks about the organization and the work that it is doing. Then, we hear from James "Dr. Jay" Speights-- a Pastor, Spiritual Life Coach and an Author--as he joins the program to speak about his latest book "#IAM" and to shed light on a shocking discovery he's made about his family lineage. After that, Rocky Bucano, an Executive Director and a Member on the Board of the Universal Hip Hop Museum, joins the show to speak about how the museum is embodying the culture of hip hop and how it's impacting our community in more ways than one. Plus, Bobby C. has the latest in the world of sports. Finally, Amanda Davis, Project Manager of NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project, highlights the work she is doing to provide visibility to the history of a marginalized and often invisible community.
