BronxNet is seeking a Programming Manager to help our programming team to present community events and experiences of the Bronx!

BronxNet is an independent award-winning not-for-profit producing programming by, for, and about the people of the Bronx, while training the community to produce programs to share with their neighbors and the world. 

We are looking for a Programming Manager to support the Director of Programming position operationally by ensuring daily deliverables including integrity of logs, schedules and metadata for BronxNet programming channels.

Essential responsibilities include:


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university,
a preferred minimum of five years’ experience with Traffic/Programming/Master Control. Previous management experience required. A strong understanding of broadcast
automation, video servers, and digital file based workflows is essential.

This candidate will have excellent judgment and decision-making skills and strong
computer skills including knowledge of G-Suite.
Organization, communication and attention to detail will be integral skills for this role.

The candidate must be able to work under pressure, make deadlines and manage time
efficiently. Previous experience with Tightrope Cablecast software a plus. Experience
with community television preferred, but not required. Video Codec knowledge is a plus.
Bilingual Spanish/English and knowledge of the Bronx a plus.
