BronxNet is seeking a Director of Marketing to engage and inspire our community in the Bronx and beyond!
The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing and executing all BronxNet’s marketing and brand building activities, including the development of marketing strategies for BronxNet’s brand awareness, programming, and educational initiatives. This individual must be a mentor, manager and able to lead a small team. This position requires a high level of energy and an entrepreneurial attitude.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred) and a minimum 5+ year’s professional experience in marketing and/or public relations. Experience working in the nonprofit industry is a plus. The candidate should have a successful track record in marketing roles and experience leading at least a 2+ person marketing team.
A candidate with creative marketing instinct and with a critical and discerning eye towards messaging and design will excel in the role. This person will be an organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced setting, as well as a team player about to collaborate effectively toward a greater goal.
Ability to write creative and effective marketing copy under deadline a must. This person will have the ability to analyze/interpret data from campaign results to set (and reset) priorities, and pivoting on strategy as needed, a keen attention to detail and take pride in the work being produced. A demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse communities preferred.
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Knowledge of the Bronx a plus.
$80-90,000 annual, with employer paid benefits.
