Mr. Gentile has served continuously as Chairman of the Board since July 1992. A lifelong resident of the Bronx, Mr. Gentile obtained his B.B.A. from Manhattan College (1965) and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law (1968). Mr. Gentile served in the Bronx District Attorney's office from 1969 through 1988, completing his service as the District Attorney (1987-1988). In 1990 Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer appointed Mr. Gentile to Chair the Commission on School Integrity that held public hearings in every school district and exposed massive corruption by local School Boards. Mr. Gentile is a practicing attorney representing judges and attorneys in ethical matters, as well as other complex litigation.
